In the early 1980s Remco opened a complete new and used reconditioning facility for restaurant and bar equipment. In 1984, a ventilation company specializing in the manufacture of restaurant hood systems was acquired and in 1988, research on an infrared rotisserie was initiated for a major chicken chain.

In May 1992 the Remco open cavity rotisserie was debut at the NRA Show in Chicago and was acclaimed as revolutionary in its cooking process. Major universities conducted test after test on this remarkable device acclaiming its unique and favorable cooking process. It's most famous for its Flicker Flame fire like display. These units are sold in North America, Canada, Central America and Europe. The more recognizable companies that adopted the technology were Kenny Rogers Roasters, Clucker’s Wood Roasted Chicken and Miami Subs Grill to name a few. Our infrared process produces chicken tender and succulent; It’s the best chicken you have ever tasted. Due to the retention of the natural juices of the chicken the meat stays moist and the skin...a crispy golden brown. Subsequently, Remco received a number of patents in this field and began experimenting and designing an infrared brick oven for the pizza industry.

By 1995, a design for a non-wood burning Infrared Brick Oven was on the drawing board. And in 1997 a working model was being tested. A final model of the technology was displayed in November 1998 at the International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show in New York City where our the Remco Millennium 2000 Carousel Brick Oven won First Prize as the Best New Product in Food Service Equipment field.

Since that time, numerous articles have been published proclaiming the Millennium revolutionary to the pizza industry with its remarkable 90 second bake time; yielding pizzas with the quality of any deck or brick oven available, the Millennium 2000 is turning heads and is surprising the brick oven market! In record time, Remco secured such clients as Disney, Storyland Theme Park, Atlanta Commerce Center, Dow Jones Eatery, US Naval base Antarctica, Penn State University, Cornell University, Delmonico Hotel Manhattan, Copper Mountain Resort, Georgia Dome, Ft. Lauderdale Airport and the list goes on. June 2000, Remco began the development of a mobile pizzeria to bring piping hot pizzas to the home and elsewhere.

The pizza oven was granted its US patent in 2001 and in Europe in early 2003. In later years Remco was granted US and european patents on our greaseless wing cooking device the Wing King/RedFire. The Wing King/Red Fire allows you to cook chicken wings to a golden brown in just 6-10 minutes.

In 2004 Remco redesigned the Renaissance Rotisseries for a waterless install. New Renaissance Rotisseries are outfitted with flat style SS pull-out pans, for ease of use and sanitation.

Again in 2008 Remco was granted a patent for an oven with and integrated air-curtain door. The Ram-air-door (RAD) allows the Millennium series ovens to have an open cavity design while retaining the heat in the cooking chamber.

2009 Remco introduces a advanced clutch and cradle system for the cooking stone in Millennium ovens. This system renders the cooking stone virtually indestructible which adds safety and assurance for clients.

In 2009 Remco also introduces the pizza grill. A M2 LS7 outfitted with a cylindrical cooking grill with modular cooking plates to meet the clients need. This oven was debuted at NAFEM 2009.
